What we treat Low back

Chronic Low Back Pain

Chronic low back pain is defined as persistent discomfort lasting over 12 weeks. It impacts movement, sleep, and overall quality of life, but it doesn't have to define your future.

  • 80% of adults experience low back pain in their lifetime.
  • It is the leading cause of activity limitation globally.
  • Our goal is to reduce these numbers through specialized recovery.

Recognizing the Signs

A dull, continuous discomfort in the lower back that lasts for 12 weeks or longer, often persisting despite rest and basic home care.

Significant stiffness in the lumbar region that limits your ability to bend, twist, or perform daily activities with full range of motion.

Discomfort that travels from the lower back into the hips, glutes, or down the legs, often accompanied by numbness or tingling sensations.

We discuss your pain journey, daily activity limitations, and long-term goals to build a roadmap for your recovery.

The PT Evaluation Process

We perform a comprehensive movement analysis to identify the root cause of your chronic pain, not just the symptoms appearing on an MRI.

Screening for joint mobility, muscular imbalances, and nerve sensitivity to determine how different structures contribute to your pain.

Assessing how your back handles physical load and movement to establish a safe starting point for exercise and rehabilitation.

Manual Therapy

We move beyond temporary fixes. Our approach combines clinical evidence with personalized concierge care, ensuring you have the time and attention needed to resolve chronic back pain once and for all. Every session is one-on-one with your physical therapist.

Safe Starting Exercises

TA contraction - Gently engage your core by drawing your belly button downward or gently exhaling as if you were blowing out a candle. Hold for 5 seconds and release.

Knee to chest - Lie on your back and pull one knee towards your chest until you feel a gentle stretch in the low back.

Cat/cow - In hands-and-knees position, slowly arch and then round your back to improve gentle spinal mobility.

Bird dogs - Extend your opposite arm and leg simultaneously while keeping your hips level to build functional stability.
